Previously on prescription pet food for Pancreatitis… not any more :-)!!!

Mu Shu & Mu Lan... happily transitioned to Pack10 Pet Food & Treats.

Mu Shu & Mu Lan… happily transitioned to Pack10 Pet Food & Treats.   Chemicals in pet food can sometimes trigger the onset of disease.  Prescription pet food provides a very bland diet with low nutritional value – but these so called “prescribed diets”  aren’t necessarily chemical free.  Mu Shu and Mu Lan are good examples of dogs with prior medical issues, eating a prescription diet.  Neither were happy with meal time or content afterwards.  Mu Shu needed to be hand fed, just to get her to eat!  Now on Pack10 chemical-free nutrition they are both thriving.  Bad breath gone! Ecstatic about meal time, and camped out at the refrigerator (where their food is kept) in anticipation of every savory meal!

Eddie – Something in my food was making me so sick!

IMG_0591 (2)

It’s been almost a year since I received a call from Eddie’s owner late one Friday evening!  Eddie had been throwing up his food for months and it wasn’t getting better.  Even after frequent trips to the vet,  prescription pet food, and sensitive stomach food, Eddie could not keep his food down.  Eddie’s owner was in a panic because she and Eddie were leaving for Michigan the next day, and Eddie wasn’t doing well!  We asked Eddie’s owner to read the pet food label/ingredient panel to us from a couple of the pet foods Eddie had been eating & that’s when we decided to give Pack10 Meals & treats a try.   The ingredient that stood out the most to us was gluten (wheat gluten is a protein that can trigger an allergy or cause digestive problems) it can be described as wheat, rye, barley, and plain ‘gluten’ itself.  Even prescription pet food can contain gluten!  The second problem we are seeing in smaller to mid-size dogs is that they are sensitive to the way proteins (meats) are processed/rendered/treated with commercial pet food.

Pack10 delivered Eddies Meals & Treats the next day, and Eddie and his owner were off to Michigan.

In a few days we received word that Eddie was keeping his food down, and even better, “loving it!”

It’s been almost a year!  Eddie eats Pack1o Meals exclusively, save a snack or two of table food!

We’re so happy we’ve had the opportunity to yet again improve the life of a pet and his owner!

Happy Tails, Eddy!

Bailey – Weight loss before & after – incredible 29lb. weight loss

After 11 months on Pack10 meals & treats Bailey loses nearly 30 lbs. and his limp!  We are so proud of Bailey and his pet parents for sticking to a healthy pet meal plan!  Bailey was not an over-fed dog,  he was simply not doing well on commercial pet food products.  Bailey continues to be fed a predominantly gluten-free Pack10 Natural diet.

Bailey’s quality of life, and life expectancy have significantly improved!

Diesel – Testimonial

We wanted to share a before and after photo of our dog. Diesel is our 2.5 year old Boxer. About six months ago, we started noticing some hair loss/skin issues and weight gain. He had a few rolls on the back of his neck, and he was developing hair loss patterns on his back and sides. After a scare from a tumor on his paw (thankfully benign), we decided to take action and change his diet. We are happy to report that after six weeks of eating the Pack10 Natural diet, his hair loss, tumor and extra weight is now gone. What a difference it makes, when you give your pet the right nutrition! Both of our dogs are on this diet, and as you can see we are very happy with the results. Thank you Packten Natural!

Joey – A Testamonial – The simple discovery of a gluten intolerant canine

The simple discovery of a gluten intolerant canine:
Joey is a small dog who had been on an unhealthful decline.  He wasn’t eating and was down three pounds from 13 to 10 lbs.  His owners were in a panic!
The owner of Joey is a friend of ours from a company I used to work for.  Last year, learning about Joey’s dilemma, we introduced Joey to our K-9 gluten-free meals.  Joey loved them!  After a few weeks on our meals, Joey was well on his way to recovering from the discomfort that food (prescription food – which can contain gluten) was causing him. He had gained all of his weight back!
Once he was well underway and eating like a normal food-driven canine, we introduced a variety of Pack10 Natural dog treats to him.  At that time, not all of our dog treats were gluten-free (they are now, though)!  After eating a gluten laced treat, Joey was back to his old sickly self!  Voila!  This is how we discovered Joey was gluten intolerant.  We no longer make gluten-laced treats with wheat products, and Joey no longer receives food with any form of wheat – gluten.
